Fuck, I'm glad that's out of the way.
So a long, long time ago I used to be in both the demoscene and the ANSI artscene. I hadn't been involved in either since about 1998, but I recently started stacking blocks again and joined a new ANSI group called Blocktronics. We are completely awesome and you should go check us out (protip: I use the name caps in the group).
Here's a video of my man zeroVision showing how ANSI is drawn, block by block.
Bear in mind this a time lapsed video and shows it being done about 2309428039 times fater than if it were shown in real time. ANSI is literally typed out using the F1-F10 keys on the keyboard, block for block, with a fixed palette of eight foreground and eight background colours. No where near as easy to do as it looks. Check out the finished product in the first Blocktronics artpack which is up on the website.
Also, go check out the sixteen colors archive, it's got pretty much every single artpack released from 1990 until now. It's got some of my old stuff on there, but it's shit so I'm not going to tell you where to find it =) Instead you should check out some groups like ACiD, iCE, AWE Lettering, Black Maiden and 27". Rude and deadly stuff!

Tangy mayonnaise is shit. Go for the creamy whole egg variety every time. It's bad in sandwiches and absolutely kills it with chips.

I dressed up for the first time ever this Halloween. I went as a mobile Gundam suit. It was really just a box with the word "GUNDAM" written across the front, but it was pretty awesome none the less. This guy has a much better costume though. I seriously want him to come hang out with me when I go out. I DARE you to rock out as hard as this. Super Sentai ftw!
When I grow up I want to be like David Rodigan. He's almost 60 and is my favouraite soundclash DJ. He KILLS the dance, and is a legend amongst Dancehall and Reggae circles. Although he studied drama and persued an acting career, Rodi scored a gig on the Reggae Rockers programme on Radio London in 1978 with Tony Williams, before he got his own show the next year, Roots Rockers. In 1990 he left Radio London to join the newly legal Kiss FM (which used to be a pirate) where he still has a show today.
I love IRC. It's the geekiest thing ever, but it's so addictive. I think I first used it around 1994, using shell accounts on the old apanix (was that what it was called?) servers and later ozemail and worldnet.
<+DethFromAbove> rmuser she is not ugly

<@rmuser> gravitational lensing
Loads of IRC quotes over at the bash.org archives.

Kool G Rap is quite good isn't he? So is Nas. You know what would have been the coolest shit ever? If Kool G Rap and Nas teamed up and did a tune, proper 1995 style. Oh, wait ...
Youtube poop tiem!
That's all for today. Peas!
